Tom, despite Poppy's insistence that Luna wasn't his, threatened to go to Luna with his truth. Tom lost track of his energy drink, and a gloved person tapped powder into it. Justin, Li, and Jack attended Tom's performance, and amid the ending applause, Tom collapsed. Tom died of a drug overdose, according to Finn. Poppy cried for Tom but also worried about what was taking Bill so long with his meeting with Katie. Bill and Katie had a deep conversation about their feelings for each other. Even though Bill was moving on, he called Katie his greatest love and said she'd always be his Katie. Poppy spied them hugging. Hope continued to reel from the news of Thomas' engagement. Paris warned Hope away from Paris' man. When Hope confronted Thomas again about rushing into marriage with Paris, Thomas proposed to Hope for a third time.

Ava leaked the audio recording of Natalia's homophobic remarks about Blaze and Kristina to the Invader on the condition of anonymity. Adrian DeWitt agreed to Ava's terms, but he quickly reversed course when Nina threatened to fire him unless he divulged his source. After resigning as the Face of Deception, Blaze was crushed when she learned that her record label had dropped her. The scandal created trouble for Kristina, who was asked to step down from her role at the LGBTQ+ youth center. Kristina confronted Natalia about her hateful words. Natalia told Sonny that Ava had set her up. Sonny vowed to file for full custody of Avery and make Ava pay for hurting Kristina to get to him. Dante tried to rein Sonny in for Avery's sake. Alexis threatened to file a lawsuit against Ava for leaking the recording. Trina confided to Josslyn that Ava's recent actions were troubling. Josslyn learned the truth about Jason's cooperation with the FBI to protect Carly from RICO charges. Jason warned Carly not to do anything to free him of his obligation to the FBI because it would mean his sacrifice had been in vain. Trina and Josslyn moved into their new apartment. Drew learned that his surname had been legally changed to Quartermaine.

Jill realized that Billy had told Lily and Devon about her health problems. The Chancellor-Winters board voted to demerge the companies, with Jill casting the sole dissenting vote. After Lily expressed having second thoughts about the vote, Billy accused her of playing him. Kyle questioned Victor's motives when Victor insisted that his investment in Glissade remain anonymous. Michael warned Diane that Victor was targeting her and Kyle to go after Jack. Jack ordered Victor to stay away from the Abbott family. After Jack confronted Kyle about colluding with Victor, Kyle announced that he was moving out of the Abbott mansion. Audra kissed Nate but hesitated to take things any further. Upon learning Kyle was going to work with Audra at Glissade, Summer threatened to revisit Harrison's custody agreement. Summer bristled when Nick and Phyllis warned her against getting lawyers involved. Kyle invited Claire out for dinner, and they shared a pleasant evening together. Diane blindsided Summer by mentioning Kyle's impending move, and Summer lashed out by blaming Diane. Alan gifted Traci with a scarf, and they later shared a tender goodnight kiss.
