In the bakery, Jonathan dares Tammy to admit that she really loves him, not Sandy. Tammy protests then throws herself at Jonathan for a scorching kiss, announcing that she wants a last fling to get her ex-lover "out of my system." Jonathan isn't moved by her declaration and demands that Tammy make a public choice, him or Sandy. Tammy chooses Sandy and Jonathan storms off. He ends up at the church where Sandy and Tammy are scheduled to take their vows. Seeing a plaque with Richard's name on it, he asks his late dad to offer a sign that everything will work out, but he gets nothing. Reva, who set up Tammy and Jonathan's "accidental" run-in, is feeling particularly guilty as she comes across a giddy Cassie, who is clinging to her daughter's wedding day as the fresh start she's been dreaming of. Reva urges Cassie not to live through her child, but gets nowhere. Later, Reva questions if Tammy really wants to go through with her wedding. Tammy insists that she does and even asks Reva to be her matron of honor. Reva accepts. Meanwhile, the groom-to-be is at the church, talking to Ava and encouraging her to find a man who'll love her as much as Tammy loves him. The fifth time's the charm as Danny and Michelle recite their vows in front of Rick and Mel, with Father Ray officiating. The giddy couple skips out on their reception and heads home for a romantic honeymoon. That's quickly interrupted by both Robbie and Hope, and Danny and Michelle agree this is the best honeymoon they could have ever hoped for. Gus and Harley are making out in the elevator until the door accidentally opens and reveals Alan-Michael. Gus and Harley quickly launch into yet another pretend fight. Gus moves off with Beth, while Harley turns down Alan-Michael's offer of a romantic getaway in exchange for his agreeing to take a job at Spaulding, as VP of Watching Her Back.

Tammy awakens on her wedding day from a nightmare about Jonathan. She flees to the church, trying to suppress her memories of their kiss the previous night, then returns home, planning to tell Cassie about her conflict. But Tammy chickens out and takes off for a few hours of fun with Sandy. Sandy takes Tammy to the bakery to see the wedding cake, which reinforces her commitment to go through with the ceremony and leave Jonathan in the past. But, Tammy's shaken when she receives a provocative gift from Jonathan. She ends the day alone with her wedding dress, wondering what she'll do next. Meanwhile, as Reva urges Jonathan to stay away from Tammy on her wedding day, Jonathan remains convinced that the marriage won't happen. And adamant about being there to see it. Newly remarried, Danny and Michelle decide to leave town for a fresh start closer to Ed. Michelle takes Hope and goes to visit Cassie, reassuring the little girl's one-time mother that she will always be welcome in their lives. At the same time, Danny heads to Company and Marina, telling her about his plans to leave Springfield and giving her a good-bye note, thanking her for helping to reunite him and Michelle with their daughter. Marina assures Danny that she's fine, but later tries to commandeer Alan-Michael's sports car for a quick, kamikaze drive to clear her head. Unfortunately, the car is a stick - and Marina can't drive a stick. Alan-Michael ends up stepping in and showing her a good time, whether Marina likes it or not. Later, Michelle, Danny, Rick, Mel and Ray gather for a pre-Thanksgiving meal to say good-bye.

Tammy arrives at the church determined to marry Sandy, no matter what her instincts are telling her. She assures Reva, Josh and Jeffrey that she is thoroughly committed to going through with the ceremony. She holds her tongue as Cassie goes on and on about what a happy day this is and how proud she is to watch her little girl marry the man she loves.

Meanwhile, Reva is taut with dreadful anticipation, wondering what evil plot Jonathan has up his sleeve to stop the ceremony. Jonathan, however, assures his mother that he has nothing planned. He is convinced Tammy will stop the ceremony herself. He continues to feel certain of it even as Tammy walks down the aisle. Even as she takes Sandy's hand and smiles at him. Even as Tammy recites her vows, willing herself not to look in Jonathan's direction, he believes she won't go through with it. The minister asks if anyone has reason for why this couple shouldn't be joined together. Jonathan refuses to take his eyes off Tammy, and shifts in his seat.

Also at the wedding, Harley and Gus are still pretending to be estranged. They stage a mini-fight for Blake's benefit, expecting her to scurry back to Beth and Alan with the news. They sneak out of the wedding early for a make-out session in the car.

Marina, with the help of Frank, Buzz and a stuffed elephant, struggles to get through the wedding mere days after breaking up with Danny. Lizzie works to keep Coop from figuring out about her and Quinn's "business arrangement" - even if Coop does catch her giving Quinn a quick kiss when she learns he's paid off her debts.
