When Luke tells Lily that another print was found at Julia's, Lily realizes the only thing to do is confess to Julia's murder.

Despite desperate pleas from Luke and Carly to wait for the real murderer to be caught, this time Lily won't back down. Carly convinces Lily to allow her to stand up next to her and attest that it was all a terrible accident but she refuses to allow Luke to join them at the station. Meanwhile, Jack is admitting to Holden he may not be able to keep Keith much longer, considering they have no physical evidence to hold him on. Later, a Texas Ranger shows up with an arrest warrant for Julia and drops the bomb that Julia was wanted on drug charges. Jack is further convinced of Keith's innocence when Keith reveals he knew about the charges and didn't use the information to get JJ. But, Holden's got worries of his own when a visit from Lucinda piques his suspicions that Luke is hiding something. When Lily arrives at the station, Holden puts her on the spot when he questions why she has been covering for Luke but she gives him an answer that he seemingly accepts. Later, a curious Lucinda finds what remains of the gloves Luke's been trying, and failing, to burn.

Ashamed off her night in bed with Craig, Jennifer wrestles with whether or not to admit the truth to Mike but when she's met with his forgiving nature, Jennifer can't bring herself to do it. Meanwhile, having just hit Craig in the face, Henry threatens that he will tell Katie that her backstabbing, snake of a brother tried to ruin her marriage, incorrectly assuming that all Craig wanted was to sleep with Jennifer. But, Craig urges Henry to think before spilling, warning that if Henry spills about Craig's scheme, he'll have to admit his part in it. Craig has what he wants, which is Jennifer back at Street Jeans and if Henry keeps quiet, chances are Jennifer and Mike will stay together and Henry will end up getting Katie after all. Henry finally decides not to expose the plan but later, his own secret of going out of town to see family is about to be exposed when Mike reveals to Katie that Henry has been lying to her.

Paul takes another blow to the heart when he discovers movers clearing out his and Rosanna's house. When Emily arrives to check on him, Paul announces that he's going to give up on love and opt for a solitary existence. Emily fights him on this, urging him to think otherwise but takes her leave when Barbara arrives to enlist Paul's help in keeping Jennifer away from Craig. Just when it seems as if Paul won't even open his heart to his own sister, he reconsiders and agrees to help, but only if its on his terms, not Barbara's.

Celia is mortified because Rafi has insisted on taking her to school. To make matters worse, not only has he told her what to wear, he also tells her that he will be waiting for her after school. As soon as he leaves, Celia takes her backpack to the girls' room and changes her clothes. Two snobby girls walk in and make fun of Celia and her clothes. Later, Celia, Will and Casey meet in the hallway -- and Celia is devastated to find that her backpack is missing. She is sure that Rafael will be furious. But Rafael has some problems of his own.... He was scheduled to open the Metro that morning, but since he chose to take Celia to school, he was two hours late to work. This is finally the last straw for Aaron, who fires him on the spot.

Jennifer has gone to see Paul at Fairwinds. He tells her he is worried about her because Barbara told him that she plans to destroy Street Jeans so that she can get the glory when she builds it up again. Paul tells Jennifer to get away from Barbara and Craig. Jennifer defends Craig and insists that she can handle her business life -- it's her personal life that she has destroyed. Paul insists that Jennifer must tell Mike whatever it is that she is afraid he will not understand, or she may lose Mike.

Carly takes JJ to Jack at the police station. Carly has had a rough morning trying to get him ready for Julia's funeral. Jack tells JJ to go look for a present, and then asks Carly to join him at the service. She tells Jack that, because JJ hates her, she doubts it will be a comfort to JJ for her to go. Jack also admits to Carly that he wants JJ to come and live with them. Carly is a little shocked and tells him they should talk about it later, after the funeral. She changes her mind and agrees to go to the service when she figures out that it is really Jack that needs her there, not JJ. But Keith overhears her tell Jack that she will go, and tells her that she is the last person that should be there. Jack tells Keith that he can go to the service if he would like, but Keith informs Jack that he would rather sit in his jail cell and pray by himself. And he adds that, if Jack knew what was good for him, that he should pray for his own miserable soul because Jack is the reason Julia is dead.

Luke has been "summoned" by Lucinda, who confronts him with the glove she found among the ashes in the fireplace. She asks Luke to explain. He denies knowing anything about it, but Lucinda knows better. She told Luke that she didn't believe him and that she would find out what was going on. If Luke knows his grandmother at all, he knows she isn't kidding!

Holden and Lily talk about Luke and about Julia's funeral. Lily offers to go with him, and at first he doesn't think it is a good idea. But Lily insisted that he should be alone and he agrees. Just as Holden opens the door to leave, he finds Lucinda on the doorstep. He asks her how her talk with Luke went -- she replied that it did not go well. When he leaves, Lucinda confronts Lily with what is left of the glove she found in her fireplace.

Julia's funeral is a somber -- and poorly attended -- affair. Tom, Lisa, Lily, Holden, Jack and Carly watch as JJ gets up and goes to his mother's casket. He tells the photo of his mother that he misses her. When the preacher asks if anyone wants to say anything, Jack declines, but Holden stands up. Lily is horrified, but composed. Holden begins to say some nice things about Julia - that she was always there for people, that she appreciated even the smallest gesture (comments with which not everyone in the group agrees!). His eulogy is cut short when Luke barges into the room and screams: "That's garbage! She ruined my life and she deserved to die!"

Katie went to see Mike to try to find out where Henry is but left once Mike tells her he has no idea where Henry is. Katie came home and found Henry waiting for her. Henry tells that he never had heart problems and that the reason he left was so that Katie and Mike could have time alone because Henry knows Katie loves Mike and wants to be with him.

Jennifer tells Craig to forget about their one-night stand or to leave Street Jeans. Craig tried to convince Jennifer that it was a mistake and forget about it. When Jennifer insists the guilt is too much Craig tells her to come clean to Mike. Jennifer went home to find the house full of candles. Mike tells her he wants to go back to the way they were before but Jennifer is overcome with guilt and starts to cry.

Will found Celia's backpack and gave it to Casey so he can look like a hero to Celia and score major points. Raphael showed up looking for Celia. Raphael found her in the girl's bathroom and the two begin to argue about Raphael being to over protective. Celia went to Metro where she and Alison had a heart to heart talk.

Holden took Luke outside of the church after he makes a scene at Julia's memorial service. Holden sent Lily home with Carly so he can try to get some answers from Luke. Luke says Julia ruined his life and that he is glad she is dead and ran off. Aaron came outside to talk to Holden about Luke. Aaron told Holden about Luke burning something outside of Metro the night Julia was murdered. Back at Lily's Carly tried to calm Lily down and tells her everything will work out. Lily told Carly she is afraid that Luke is the one that killed Julia and she needs to do something to protect her children.
