Y&R's Justin Hartley and Chrishell Stause are engaged

It looks like The Young and the Restless' Justin Hartley (Adam Newman) has popped the question to Chrishell Stause (Bethany Bryant) -- and she said yes!

Exciting news broke over the weekend for The Young and the Restless fans: Justin Hartley (Adam Newman) asked his longtime girlfriend and Y&R costar, Chrishell Stause (ex-Jordan Ridgeway, Days of our Lives; ex-Amanda Dillon, All My Children), to marry him, and the couple is now engaged.

Stause took to Instagram to announce the news, posting a photo of herself lounging in the sun with a diamond ring on her finger with the caption, "You guys think I need sunscreen? @justinhartley"

Editor's Note: We're thinking with that kind of bling and light reflection, yes, she does!

Hartley and Stause have been the couple to watch since becoming a public pair back in 2014. She recently joined Y&R in a recurring capacity, and he'll star in NBC's upcoming primetime series This Is Us.

Following her post about the engagement, Stause responded to the outpouring of congratulations with this Twitter message: "Such a happy time. Thanks for all the well wishes guys! So sweet."

Check out the couple's chemistry from earlier this year when they appeared together on the Red Carpet at the 2016 Daytime Emmys.
