The Young and the Restless' Thom Bierdz (ex-Phillip Chancellor) experienced a bizarre Disney-like moment this past weekend when he came face to face with an intruder attempting to break into his home.

"I walk to back door and flip on outdoor light and shine flashlight on an intruder reaching for the knob," the actor shared on Facebook of the scary incident at his Lake Arrowhead, California, home. The prowler took off as Bierdz called 911, but he left something behind: a pair of shoes.

Fortunately, no one was hurt and nothing was stolen, so Bierdz was able to make light of the barefoot bandit situation, posting a photo of the kicks and joking, "The thief who left his shoes MAY be my Cinderella, so I will be having all the men in the world try on these shoes."
