ABC Focuses on the ABCs of Soaps

CBS Daytime launches Daymoji app

There are even more changes behind-the-scenes at ABC Daytime.

Sue Johnson, a network programming executive for One Life to Live, has been promoted to director of talent development for ABC Daytime. According to ABC, Johnson will be in charge of writer and production development for all four ABC soaps - Port Charles, All My Children, One Life to Live and General Hospital.

Other recent changes behind-the-scenes at ABC Daytime:

In June 2000, Felicia Minei Behr was named to Vice President of Programming for ABC Daytime.

The AMC Pages News | AMC Will Have to Share Agnes Nixon On October 17th, 2000, All My Children and One Life to Live creator Agnes Nixon was plucked from her head writer job with AMC and elevated to the newly created position of Overall Story Consultant for ABC Dayime.

There is still no official word from ABC about the rumored firing of Angela Shapiro, President of ABC Daytime. Shapiro is the one who implemented the crossovers between all of the ABC soaps.
