Engagement photos don't get any cuter than those shared by Days of our Lives star Lucas Adams (Tripp Dalton), who is thrilled to announce that he plans to marry his girlfriend, Shelby Wulfert.
The actor took to Instagram with the heartwarming news and captioned his super sweet engagement photos, "Well... I asked my best friend a question the other day."
Wulfert also shared the same photos on her Instagram page, writing, "I said, 'of course I will baby!' Y'all, I'm gonna marry my best friend!!!"
Fans who have been following Adams and Wulfert's love story probably aren't super surprised to see their relationship flourish to the point of an engagement. Adams has been quite clear about his feelings for his significant other in his social media posts, including a post made last year for the couple's fifth anniversary in which he wrote, "I love you more than anything in the universe, and I am so grateful to be able to love you more and more every day. You are my world, sweetheart... Here's to so many more."
After Adams posted news of his engagement, several of the Texas native's costars shared their well wishes, including Isabel Durant (Claire Brady), Marci Miller (Abigail Deveraux), Billy Flynn (Chad DiMera), Lamon Archey (Eli Grant), Dan Feuerriegel (E.J. DiMera), Victoria Konefal (Ciara Brady), and Olivia Rose Keegan (ex-Claire Brady).
Lucas Adams joined DAYS in 2017. His other credits include American Pie Presents: Girls' Rules, Those Who Can't, True Blood, and Liv and Maddie: Cali Style. Wulfert starred with Adams in Liv and Maddie: Cali Style. Her additional credits include Major Crimes, Betch, and Blue Call.
