Days of our Lives fans have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of Jackée Harry as new Salemite Paulina, and they probably haven't felt this giddy since they were kids at Christmas! Fortunately, the looooooong wait is almost over.
The NBC soap's head writer Ron Carlivati revealed that viewers can look forward to Harry's DAYS debut on Monday, March 1.
The longtime soap writer divulged Harry's first airdate in a cheeky response to Jeopardy! icon Ken Jennings, who did an impression of Harry when he was a contestant on The Chase and -- after Harry recently teased him about it -- confessed that his bucket list included, "Jackée publicly denounces my Jackée impression." Carlivati told Jennings that he can start practicing a better impression by tuning into Harry's debut on DAYS.
You can practice it by watching her on @nbcdays starting March 1st... #days https://t.co/FK7vCfdWHO

As Soap Central previously reported, hip hop artist Precious Way has joined DAYS as Paulina's child, Chanel, who will be arriving in Salem at the same time as her mom. So, fans have double the trouble to look forward to this March!
As for how the mother/daughter pair might fit into story, Carlivati previously revealed that Paulina comes into town in connection with the kidnapping of Eli (Lamon Archey) and Lani's (Sal Stowers) twin babies and decides to stay put in Salem for business reasons.
In a recent interview with Soap Central, Archey shared that he's thrilled with Harry's addition to the canvas and the story surrounding her debut. "I am super excited," he enthused. "I expect it to be a lot of fun!"
