Days of our Lives was forced to make an emergency recast of a major role. Tyler Christopher (Stefan DiMera) went on a sudden leave from DAYS last Thursday. The reason for his leave has not been disclosed.
As a result, DAYS has tapped Christopher's former General Hospital costar Brandon Barash (ex-Johnny Zacchara) to step in for the duration of Christopher's time away from the show.
Barash reported to work at DAYS earlier this week. Presumably, due to DAYS' production schedule, Christopher will be back at work long before Barash's first scenes ever hit the airwaves.
