Days of our Lives star Billy Flynn (Chad DiMera) may be busy in Salem, but it looks like he'll soon be pulling double duty.
The actor has landed a role in D.O.A. Blood River, a thriller written and helmed by Stephen C. Sepher, Deadline reports. Filming starts next month on the movie that is inspired by Rudolph Mate's 1950s noir thriller and also stars Chris Mulkey and D.B. Sweeney.
The story follows a pharmaceutical salesman named Sam Collins who travels from Los Angeles to a small town in Louisiana to sign a major business deal with Dr. Alexander, a doctor who specializes in vaccine research. The outcome, however, is unlike anything Sam ever imagined.
No other details have been released about the film, but Flynn took to social media to share his excitement.
"So excited I can finally share this news!" he wrote. "I can't wait to tell you THIS story... with such an amazing cast and @stephencyrussepher at the helm it's going to be a really special experience."
At this time, it's unclear if or how D.O.A. Blood River will affect Flynn's status at DAYS.
