Popular Days of our Lives star Drake Hogestyn (John Black) has been temporarily sidelined following a freak accident that has left the actor injured and unable to work.
The Indiana native reportedly fell out of a tree at his home and suffered "internal bleeding," reports The Globe. "It sounds like he cheated death," the outlet states.
According to people set side, Hogestyn's accident happened in May, and the actor hasn't been filming for the past several weeks. There's no word at this time how John's absence will be explained on-screen.
