All good things must come to an end, and it appears now is the time for Alexander Bruszt (Fynn Thompson) to bid farewell to Days of our Lives and Salem.
The Aussie actor, who won a contest against other charming Australian actors for the role, has finished taping at the NBC drama, reports Soap Opera Digest. His run -- which originally started out being 13 weeks in length but was reportedly extended -- is expected to end later this summer.
As fans of DAYS know, Dr. Thompson's connection with Mary Beth Evans' Kayla Brady is currently heating up. His departure might just leave her in shambles. Looks like viewers will have to wait and see!
Bruszt's exit is just one of several exits announced in the past few weeks. Kate Mansi (Abigail Deverauz) confirmed that her last appearance will take place later this month, and Jen Lilley (Theresa Donovan) confirmed reports that she will exit DAYS by year's end.
