The Bold and the Beautiful's executive producer and head writer, Brad Bell, has some stunning summer surprises in store -- both good and bad.

CBS Daytime's The Bold and the Beautiful is already quite glamorous, but the fashion-centric soap opera is amping up the glam factor several notches this summer. In fact, fans of the series may want to stock up on extra sunscreen, because the series' executive producer and head writer Brad Bell teases lots of flash and bling are headed to viewers' screens.

In a summer preview item via TV Insider, Bell reveals that the show will be once again be shooting on location -- possibly overseas.

"It's going to be a glamorous summer," he shares.

But not all will be light and bright as we head into the beginning of the warm season. As viewers know, the baby swap storyline is coming to a head, with tensions mounting among those who know that the presumed-dead daughter of Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) was unwittingly adopted by rival Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Bell teases that before mom and baby are reunited, the dramatic saga "is going to take a dark turn."

What sinister shadows could be on the horizon for one or all involved? Bell reveals that a death will take place later this summer... but viewers will have to tune in to find out which character will meet his or her dismal fate or whether or not he or she is connected to the baby story.

What do you think about B&B shooting on location again? Where do you hope the soap will travel? What "dark turn" do you think will happen within the baby swap storyline?
