The Bold and the Beautiful renewed through 2014

The world's most popular soap opera will continue to air for at least another 18 months. The Bold and the Beautiful has been renewed through the 2013-2014 season.

The Forresters and the Logans will continue to feud for the foreseeable future. CBS has announced that The Bold and the Beautiful has been renewed through 2014.

"Over the past few years, we have successfully transitioned our daytime schedule to a balance of program genres with new creative energy, while maintaining our ratings leadership," said Nina Tassler, President, CBS Entertainment. "We are proud of CBS's history of quality and leadership in Daytime, thrilled with our current success and we look forward to more great things ahead from the outstanding creative talent in place at each of the shows."

"I am excited and energized by the pickup of our lineup for next season, which features a balanced mix of talk, game shows and drama," said Angelica McDaniel, Senior VP, Daytime, CBS Entertainment. "We have been #1 for over two decades, and our goal is to challenge ourselves to make our successful schedule even stronger."

The Bold and the Beautiful will mark its 26th anniversary on March 23. This year, The Bold and the Beautiful has seen a six-percent uptick in the show's ratings.

It wasn't only B&B getting good news: CBS also renewed its entire daytime linup, which includes the long-running game show The Price is Right, The Talk, and Let's Make a Deal. The Young and the Restless has already been renewed through 2014 as part of a previous multi-year licensing deal.

Earlier this month, NBC announced that its sole soap, Days of our Lives, had been renewed through September 2014.
