AMC, ATWT's Lamman Rucker stars in The Undershepherd

All My Children and As the World Turns vet Lamman Rucker stars in the award-winning film, The Undershepherd, a film that explores corruption in the church. Rucker appeared as AMC's Garret Williams in 2005, and ATWT's Marshall Travers from 2002 to 2003.

Former All My Children and As the World Turns star Lamman Rucker will appear in the broadcast television premiere of The Undershepherd. The award-winning film premieres this month on the TV One network.

Written, directed, and executive produced by nationally syndicated radio personality and filmmaker Russ Parr, The Undershepherd tells the controversial tale of two ministers, who, although originally best friends and brothers in Christ, find their relationship tested by access to power, money, and greed.

Grey's Anatomy vet Isaiah Washington stars as Lawrence "LC" Case, an ambitious and charismatic minister overcome by greed and ego who uses the pulpit to further his own agenda and ultimately lead his congregation astray. Rucker plays LC's best friend, Roland, who is struggling to get his grassroots ministry off the ground and doesn't enjoy the same level of success. As a result, controversy and conflict arise between the two men.

The Undershepherd also stars Malinda Williams (Soul Food), Elise Neal (Belles and The Hughleys), Vanessa Bell Calloway (Shameless), Clifton Powell (Ray), Bill Cobb (Go On), Robinne Lee (Hitch), Keith David (Belles and Cloud Atlas), and Academy Award winner Louis Gossett, Jr.

Lamman Rucker made his daytime debut in 2002 as T. Marshall Travers on As the World Turns. In 2005, Rucker appeared for several months as the villainous Garret Williams on All My Children.

Since exiting daytime, Rucker has found success in both primetime television and film, starring in Tyler Perry's Why Did I Get Married? and Meet the Browns, among numerous other projects.

The Undershepherd premieres Saturday, March 30, 8PM/ET and Sunday, March 31, 5:30PM/ET exclusively on TV One.
